What You'll Be Doing

You'll get exposure to both civil design and geotechnical engineering, building a strong technical foundation early in your career:

• Support site development design (grading, drainage, erosion control, layout)
• Assist with geotechnical investigations, including field work and soil analysis
• Be on-site for drilling activities and field inspections-learn how projects come to life
• Help prepare soil boring logs and contribute to geotechnical reports
• Work with Experienced engineers on foundation design inputs (drilled shafts, shallow foundations, etc.)
• Collaborate with civil, geotechnical, and electrical teams on real-world infrastructure projects
• Assist in preparing calculations, reports, and engineering documentation
• Participate in site visits and learn constructability considerations firsthand
• Gain exposure to industry standards, safety practices, and QA/QC processes

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 0-2 years of experience (internships and co-ops absolutely count)
• Interest in both civil site design and geotechnical engineering
• Strong work ethic, curiosity, and willingness to learn

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of New Albany, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $36.06/hr.
