Inpatient Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC-Certified)

Cornerstone of Rhinebeck, a short-term, inpatient chemical dependency treatment program for adults, is seeking a Full Time and Per Diem Substance Abuse Counselor to work directly with patients. As a vital member of our treatment team, you will provide individual and group counseling services to help individuals overcome addiction and achieve long-term recovery. Schedule: Full Time Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Per Diem Schedule: Open to the needs of the department; weekends and holidays may be required Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and primary clinicians Conduct assessments and screenings to identify patients' needs and develop treatment plans Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay current with best practices and program developments Requirements: Must be CASAC-T, CASAC, CASAC2, CASAC Advanced Counselor, or CASAC Master Counselor Experienced in group and individual counseling Computer literate Experience with electronic medical records is a plus Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Cornerstone-of-Rhinebeck
