Real Estate Transactional Associate (2–5 Years) | San Diego, CA \ N

Our client is a long-established, top-ranked San Diego real estate boutique. For five decades it has represented developers, investors, and lenders across California. The firm holds Tier 1 regional rankings in both Real Estate and Land Use & Zoning, and was recently recognized nationally for its client service. It is looking to add a commercial real estate associate who wants to put down roots in San Diego and build a long-term practice.

What you’ll work on

The firm’s practice helpsclients buy, sell, lease, and finance commercial property, and structure the entities behind those deals. You’ll work directly with partners on:

• Acquisitions and dispositions of industrial, multifamily, retail, and office properties
\ N
• Lender-side real estatefinancing, a growing area with a clear path to build your own expertise
\ N
• Land use, zoning, and entitlement matters
\ N
• Purchase and sale agreement drafting and negotiation
\ N
• Title and survey due diligence
\ N
• LLC, partnership, and joint venture formation for real estate ventures
\ N

What we’re looking for

\n
• JD with 2–5 yearsof commercial real estate transactional experience
\ N
• Active California Bar membership, or recently sat for the California Bar with results pending
\ N
• Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements and running due diligence
\ N
• Interest in real estatefinance (prior exposure is a plus)
\ N
• Land use, entitlement, or home builder compliance experience is a plus
\ N
• A steady, collegial, client-focused professional who wants to grow with one firm long-term
\ N
• Based in, or committed to relocating to, San Diego. This is an in-office role.
