Registered Nurse, Pediatric Emergency Room (Night Shift)ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Pediatric Emergency Room (Night Shift) in Akron, Ohio.LocationAkron, OHAssignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Schedule/ShiftShifts available are 11a-11p, 1p-1a, 3p-3a, and 7p-7a with an every other weekend requirement.Job DescriptionAs a Pediatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent clinical and communication skills while working in a Magnet facility. The unit cares for a diverse range of patient diagnoses including respiratory, orthopedic, behavioral health, trauma, and cardiac issues.ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the emergency room.Administer medications and monitor patient responses.Perform necessary procedures and assist with triage of incoming patients.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.Document patient information accurately in Epic charting system.Required Experience2 years of Pediatric Emergency Room nursing experience required.Previous Charge experience preferred.Must have travel experience; first-time travelers will not be considered.Certifications/LicensureCurrent Ohio RN license or Compact RN license required.ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.About ARMStaffingFounded in 2011 and a member of the ARGroup, LLC, ARMStaffing connects dedicated nurses and allied health professionals with the facilities that need them most.
