Job Description: Med Surg- Nights 36 or 48 hr option- anything over 48 hours is overtime. BLS & NIHSS required (pending ok) CPI preferred- Nurse to patient ratios 1:6- Rapid response team activation- 1 year of recent experience required- Unit accepts 1st time travelers- Epic charting No call; floating to like units weekends: 6 weekend shifts within 6 weeks 32 beds on unit

Floating: Unless specifically stated otherwise, travelers will be expected to float to like units within their scope, as needed based on facility needs. Travelers will receive brief orientation on the unit. Once contract is signed, traveler is expected to go in for labs within 48 business hours (please notify at time of submittal if you/traveler foresee any reasons for compliance delays) Modules: Modules are non-billable, all hours are factored in NBORN average 4-6 hours Allied 2-3 hours Modules are completed onsite during orientation Modules are recorded via transcripts
