Schedule:  3 x 12 hr. shifts per week on the Night Shift (7p - 7a) + rotating weekends

Our Emergency Department is a rural twenty-bed unit where we are focused on providing patient centered care in a friendly environment.  Work/Life Balance is very important to us, so we currently offer self-scheduling.  If you would like to be a part of a growing, enthusiastic team that believes in teamwork and quality outcomes then give us a try!  Our smaller community-based emergency department may be exactly what you are looking for!

How you'll contribute   

\n

A Registered Nurse who excels in this role: 

\n

\n
• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs 
\n
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions 
\n
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient 
\n
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record 
\n
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient 
\n

What we're looking for 

\n

\n
• Current North Carolina State License or Compact License with North Carolina endorsement.
\n
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire
\n
• ACLS is required within 90 days of hire
\n
• Associate's degree in nursing is required (Bachelor's degree is preferred)  
\n
• One year of RN experience in a health care setting is preferred
