Schedule: Day Shift: 0530 - 1800

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• Current Washington State license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification
• Prefer one year of current acute care experience; may accept new graduates
• Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds from floor to waist
• Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds from wheelchair to bed level
• Ability to lift five (5) pounds overhead
• Ability to pull fifty (50) pounds from stretcher to bed
• Ability to push one hundred fifty (150) pound loaded stretcher 300 feet
• Auditory ability to perform procedures and to take accurate blood pressures
• Vision adequate to observe patients and to perform charting procedures

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized comprehensive respiratory care to patients.
• Coordinate and direct respiratory care based on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Function with a minimum of supervision after orientation.
• Work effectively as a team member.

Compliance / Notes:

Requests for time off (RTO) needs to be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract.
