Provide expert pharmaceutical care as a Night Shift Pharmacist at a 120-bed Level III trauma center in Norfolk, NE. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to support critical inpatient and emergency department operations during overnight hours. Location:

• Norfolk, Nebraska

Schedule:

• Night shift, 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday to Tuesday)

Responsibilities:

• Validate medication orders and oversee kinetic dosing
• Review medications prior to distribution to ensure safety and accuracy
• Provide timely responses to nursing staff inquiries
• Supervise compounding activities during night hours
• Fill outpatient prescriptions for emergency department patients overnight

Qualifications:

• Valid Nebraska pharmacist license required
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system ideal; training available
• Experience with Pyxis automated dispensing systems beneficial
