Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg
- Provide direct patient care and monitor health conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient progress and communicate changes to the medical team
- Educate patients on post-discharge care and health management
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg
- Current Louisiana RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Previous experience in a Med Surg setting
