Junior Litigation Attorney

Attorney Position

A growing and highly respected litigation firm is seeking an attorney with 2–5 years of litigation experience to join its San Francisco office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney who enjoys litigation work but prefers to work closely with senior attorneys rather than managing a full independent caseload immediately. The role will support two experienced partners and offers hands-on exposure to depositions, mediations, legal research, and case strategy in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and case analysis to support litigation strategy
• Assist senior attorneys with depositions, mediations, and hearings
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Review case files, documentation, and supporting evidence
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Support case preparation and trial readiness

Ideal Background

• 3–5 years of litigation experience
• Insurance litigation experience strongly preferred
• Experience in real estate or broader civil litigation will also be considered
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused legal environment

Work Environment

• First 30–60 days onsite in San Francisco for onboarding, training, etc.
• Transition to hybrid schedule (3 days in office)

Compensation

Salary: $125K – $150K

Bonus eligible based on team settlements and case outcomes
