SRDP Ag.Shop Supervisor Location: Belle Glade, FL, US Florida Crystals is a leading domestic sugar producer and North America’s first fully integrated cane sugar company, guiding our sugar from farm to table. OVERVIEW The position is located at our facilities in western Palm Beach County. Florida Crystals Corporation is a leading domestic sugar producer that owns 155,000 acres of land, two sugar mills, a sugar refinery, a biomass renewable power plant, and a rice mill in Palm Beach County. These facilities farm and harvest sugarcane and rice for processing at the local mills. DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES 2‑year program leading to endless career opportunities Acquire skills in maintaining a strong technical knowledge of heavy, medium, and light duty equipment systems, ability to read complicated schematics and translate to team members; Acquire skills in communicating and coordinating maintenance and repair activities with outside contractors/vendor services and supervise their progress. Maintain professional and courteous relationships with all departments within the company. Communicate Human Resource’s policies and procedures to team members; support Florida Crystals Corporation’s Standards of Conduct/Work Rules Policy. Assist in all maintenance planning and help supervise its execution. WORK EXPERIENCES Ag Shop experience preferred EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university Have an above average GPA SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY Yes ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES) Be able to physically work in an industrial shop environment Must be able to lift 50 pounds or must be able to stand/walk through industrial environment for 5 hours a day.
