Position Overview We are on the lookout for a passionate and talented Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging professionals dedicated to delivering top-tier care. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic procedures, engage with a supportive team of clinicians, and provide vital insights to ease patients' worries through prompt and precise imaging. Responsibilities Include
- Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout the examination process, elucidating each aspect of the procedure with empathy and clarity
- Work closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
- Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any issues without delay
- Precisely document procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records within the electronic medical system
- Stay abreast of the latest advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards of practice
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred
- Current ARDMS certification or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Strong technical ability in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
