We are seeking a talented and motivated Litigation Attorney – Labor & Employment to join our team in Harrison, NY. The ideal candidate will have 3–10 years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for labor and employment law experience. This role offers the opportunity to manage a broad range of litigation matters while working closely with a collaborative, experienced legal team. The successful candidate will handle matters independently while maintaining professionalism, attention to detail, and a high level of client service.

Responsibilities

• Develop litigation strategy, conduct legal analysis, and manage cases from inception through resolution.
• Handle matters in federal and state courts, arbitrations, and administrative agency proceedings, including the EEOC and NYSDHR.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery demands and responses, and other legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Appear in court and argue motions.
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining strong organizational standards.
• Collaborate effectively with the legal team while taking ownership and accountability for assigned matters.

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar and in good standing.
• 3–10 years of litigation experience.
• Experience handling matters in federal and state courts, arbitrations, and administrative agency proceedings, including the EEOC and NYSDHR.
• Strong legal research, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering work of the highest professional standard.
