Through its sharp focus on clients’ goals, a rigorous due-diligence process and access to Blackstone’s global insights, BXMA strives to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns across market cycles while mitigating downside risk during stressed market environments. Job Description:The Assistant Vice President will work on a variety of compliance related matters pertaining to private investing, open market trading and information flow management. Primary job responsibilities include:Assisting from a compliance perspective with the intake of new direct and indirect investing opportunities for BXMA’s private commingled funds and accounts, including coordination with external investment partners, the BXMA investment teams and other parts of BlackstoneServe as point of contact for potential investment targets and partners to facilitate investment diligence by the BXMA investment teamsDraft, implement and maintain policies and procedures to adapt to new product needs and strategiesPerform trade compliance functions and assist in maintaining BXMA’s restricted listCoordinate with legal and compliance teams across the firm to assist with firm-wide conflict clearances and related processesManage and document the flow of confidential investment information into and out of BXMA in furtherance of Blackstone’s information wall policies and proceduresExposure to AI-enabled productivity tools or workflow automation platforms.Experience testing or improving operational processes through AI solutions.Qualifications:Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The successful candidate would be a part of a highly collaborative Legal and Compliance team and would interact closely with the firm’s investment teams.
