Retail Receiving Manager – Boca West Country Club, Boca Raton, FL Boca West Country Club, one of the nation’s premier private clubs, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Retail Receiving Manager to oversee all retail receiving operations across six retail outlets, including the Golf Shop & Golf Studio, Logo Shop, Pickleball Shop, Tennis Shop, Cabana Shop, and Market Square . This critical leadership position is responsible for the accurate receipt, processing, inventory control, and distribution of approximately $3.5 million in merchandise annually . The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting an award‑winning retail operation that delivers an exceptional member experience. Key Focus Receive, ticket, and distribute merchandise efficiently and accurately Maintain high standards of organization and accountability Support seamless retail operations that elevate the club experience Areas of Responsibility Receiving & Inventory Management Oversee daily receipt, inspection, and verification of all incoming retail merchandise Ensure all received items are accurately matched against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices Ticket, label, and organize merchandise according to club standards Support the proper storage and flow of merchandise to retail outlets, ensuring timely distribution Conduct regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies Vendor & Retail Collaboration Act as the primary liaison with vendors and Director of Retail regarding shipment status, damages, or shortages Communicate proactively to resolve receiving issues swiftly, ensuring product availability and member satisfaction Financial & Administrative Oversight Collaborate with Finance Department and Director of Retail to process invoices accurately and support audit readiness Maintain organized records of receiving documentation, inventory movements, and compliance files Assist with month‑end inventory reporting and reconciliation processes Team Leadership & Process Enhancement Lead and develop the receiving team, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and service Train staff on receiving procedures, inventory systems, safety protocols, and customer service standards Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, accuracy, and operational efficiency Competencies Strong organizational and inventory management skills Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and inventory tracking Leadership and team development capabilities Effective communication and vendor relationship management Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment Strong problem‑solving and process‑improvement mindset Professionalism, accountability, and discretion Education, Experience, and Training Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail, Hospitality, or related field preferred 3‑5 years of experience in retail receiving and inventory control at the private club level Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, inventory management, purchasing, and Point of Sale systems Prior supervisory or team leadership experience Familiarity with inventory management and POS systems (FoodTrak, BirchStreet, Cedar Creek, etc.) Experience within private clubs, hospitality, or luxury retail settings is a plus Compensation & Benefits Full Time / $85,000 annually Vacation/Sick Pay 401(K) after 1 Year Medical, Dental, Vision Employee meal Employee Referral Program Please email cover letter and resume to Emily Gifford, Director of Retail: View email address on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr
