Theposition focuses primarily on inpatient trauma and acute surgical care, withopportunities to develop additional skills in ICU procedures and OR assistance. PositionHighlights Full-time permanent position Level I Trauma Center 147 shifts annually 12-hour shifts Primarily inpatient Trauma Surgerycoverage Approximately 3-4 outpatient clinichours per week Flexible scheduling built approximately3 months in advance High-acuity trauma and acute surgicalpatient population Opportunities for ICU procedure trainingand OR assistance No elective practice responsibilities No non-compete clause Competitive compensation starting at $ 140,000+annually Supportive, physician-led surgicalorganization Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient care totrauma and acute surgical patients. Evaluate patients, develop treatmentplans, and monitor clinical progress. Assist with the management ofhigh-acuity trauma and surgical cases. Perform procedures within scope ofpractice and hospital privileges. Assist in the OR as needed. Participate in rounds, patienteducation, discharge planning, and care coordination. Collaborate with trauma surgeons,residents, nursing, critical care, and other multidisciplinary teams. Provide limited outpatient cliniccoverage as scheduled.
