Project Foreman - Plumbing & Hydronic Systems

Company Overview:
CSP is partnering with a leading provider of mechanical and plumbing solutions, specializing in commercial and multi-family projects. We are currently looking for an experienced Project Foreman with expertise in plumbing and hydronic pipefitting systems, as well as a Journeyman's liscense to lead our installation teams.
Position Summary

As a Project Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising field operations and guiding installation crews to complete commercial and multi-family mechanical and plumbing projects safely and efficiently. Your role will focus on hydronic piping systems including chilled and hot water heating and cooling installations. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that all work meets project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise plumbing and pipefitting crews on-site to ensure quality workmanship
• Manage installation of hydronic heating and cooling systems such as dual-temperature closed-loop chilled/hot water piping, isolation valve replacements, and fan coil units
• Oversee pipe insulation, firestopping, drywall repairs, and coordinate with subcontractors for demo and abatement tasks
• Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications accurately
• Develop and manage daily work schedules for technicians and subcontractors to maintain project timelines
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and quality control protocols
• Conduct regular quality inspections and troubleshoot any installation challenges
• Order and coordinate materials and equipment necessary for job site needs
• Maintain clean, safe job site environments adhering to company and regulatory standards
• Train, mentor, and support junior technicians and apprentices to build team capability
• Prepare and submit daily job reports and progress updates to project stakeholders

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, or hydronic mechanical systems installation
• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or foreman role preferred
• Possession of a valid Journeyman license
• Expertise in hydronic piping and plumbing systems installation and repair
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications
• Experience leading crews on commercial or large residential construction projects
• Strong problem-solving skills, leadership aptitude, and excellent communication abilities
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
