Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Supervisor-SIU

Overview The Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Supervisor at Capital One leads various AML processes, including suspicious activity investigations, closing reviews, and policy impact projects. The Supervisor works closely with AML Process Managers, coaches the AML team, and ensures high-quality investigative work. Responsibilities Supervise daily workflow and operational metrics of the AML Operations team. Lead and coach a small central unit of Investigators. Assist in training efforts across Regulatory Operations and business areas. Contribute to internal AML Operations projects related to policy and procedure modification. Assess new business acquisitions to determine AML work flow requirements. Perform quality assurance on draft Suspicious Activity Reports, closing cases, and other AML processes. Handle escalated issues for advanced investigation and analysis. Assess internal trends and external regulatory and law‑enforcement environments to recommend risk and typology adjustments. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification. At least 1 year of people‑management experience in Fraud, AML investigations, or a Compliance role. At least 2 years of investigative experience in Fraud or AML investigations. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. 2+ years of people‑management experience in Fraud, AML investigations, or Compliance. 3+ years of investigative experience in Fraud and AML investigations. Certifications: CAMS, CPP, or CFE.
