Financial Accountant

I’m currently recruiting for a client seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Accountant with 1–2 years of experience in a credit union or bank setting . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to a team that values accuracy, integrity, and community impact. Key Responsibilities: Assist with daily accounting operations, including reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance. Support month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare financial reports and assist with audits. Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. Qualifications: 1–2 years of accounting experience specifically within a credit union or banking environment (required). Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Familiarity with financial regulations and reporting standards. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
