Quality Assurance Specialist

$18 per hour

Key Responsibilities: Quality Management Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Auditing and Monitoring Conduct regular audits and evaluations of EMS operations, patient transport processes, and documentation to identity areas for improvement Data Analysis Collect and analyze data on service quality, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency; prepare reports and make recommendations based on findings. Training and Development: Design and deliver education training for emts/medics on quality assurance practices, policies, and compliance requirements. Collaboration: Work closely with operational teams to promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into quality-related incidents, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions are implemented. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on industry regulations and standards; ensure company practices align with these requirements. Requirements Qualifications: Experience in quality assurance, preferably within the healthcare or EMS industry but not needed, we provide training. Familiarity with relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA, ISO standards) and quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean). Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Certification Essential Functions: Must be physically able to type or work at a keyboard for most of the day. Must be able to view and read from a screen for long periods of time Salary Description $18.00
