Quick Facts: Location: Centralia, IL Start Date: 11/02/2026 End Date: 02/01/2027 Shift: Night shift, 5x8 hours (19 00) Hours/week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract (with ongoing coverage) Licenses/Certifications: BLS required Experience: Managed general cardiology, inpatient consults, stress testing supervision, reading EKGs & Echos Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $278.46 Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time according to applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team to ensure your success during assignment What You ll Do: Conduct inpatient cardiology consultations and manage complex cases Supervise and interpret echocardiograms and stress testing procedures Read and analyze EKGs and provide diagnosis and treatment plans Collaborate with hospital staff to coordinate patient care Support hospital rounding and emergency consults as needed Provide phone call coverage for urgent cardiac questions Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions and procedures What You Need: Valid cardiology medical license in Illinois BLS certification (required) Experience in general cardiology and managing CAD, HTN, HF patients Strong assessing, diagnostic, and communication skills Ability to perform inpatient duties and supervise testing Team-oriented mentality with excellent time management skills About the Assignment: This assignment involves working with a leading facility in Centralia, Illinois, providing comprehensive cardiology services to adult patients.
