American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years experience for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring BLS and ARRT (MR) certification.

Acute care hospital setting in the MRI department with 1 scanner room

General MRI imaging including head, neck, abdomen, and extremity studies (no cardiac)

Average of 14 scans/studies per day

Uses GE equipment and EPIC EMR/PACS system

3x12 hour day shifts

Call required one night per week and every 3-4 weekends

No floating to other departments required

In-house radiologist available except overnight

Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required

Current BLS (AHA) certification required

Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR) required

License required if applicable

Must be able to start IVs

EPIC experience preferred

Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Perform general MRI imaging studies across head, neck, abdomen, and extremities

Start IVs as part of routine duties

Department-specific orientation provided in addition to general facility orientation

Scrubs in any professional color, not facility-provided

Weekend and holiday coverage required

Must reside within 60 miles of the facility

Candidates should plan to be in-state for orientation week, even if initial modules are remote
