Reference: BBBH118093_1789989477Director of Sales - Food IngredientsLocation: On-siteSalary: Up to $200,000 base + variable commissionReports to: VP of Business DevelopmentThe OpportunityA growing food ingredients business is looking to appoint a Director of Sales to lead its commercial team and support the next stage of growth across the US market.This is a newly created leadership position, taking responsibility for an established sales team while also helping shape the company's wider commercial strategy.The business has grown organically to approximately 100 employees and is continuing to invest in its sales function, with further Technical Sales hires planned.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach and develop a team of 4 Sales Representatives and 2 Sales Support employeesWork closely with the VP of Business Development to develop and execute commercial strategyDrive revenue growth across existing accounts while identifying new business opportunitiesDevelop relationships with food manufacturers, processors and key strategic customersSupport the sales team with major accounts, negotiations and new customer developmentBuild stronger sales processes, accountability and pipeline management across the teamIdentify opportunities to expand into new markets and product categoriesRecruit and develop additional commercial talent as the sales organization growsCollaborate closely with operations, technical, product and leadership teamsRelevant Industry ExperienceCandidates should have a strong background selling food ingredients into manufacturers.Relevant product expos
