Job Summary
Always Best Care Boerne is hiring Skilled Caregivers to provide compassionate, reliable in-home care to seniors in Kerrville and surrounding Texas Hill Country communities.
Caregivers help clients with personal care, daily activities, mobility, meals, companionship, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment. We provide paid training, ongoing support, and flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing and dressing
- Provide safe mobility and transfer assistance
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide companionship and social support
- Provide medication reminders
- Monitor and report changes in client condition
- Document completed care using our mobile app
- Follow the client's care plan and company policies
- Perform other related caregiving duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1 year of caregiving experience preferred, but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle and current auto insurance
- Smartphone required for documentation and time tracking
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Willing to complete a background check and drug screening
- Three professional references required
- Dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working with seniors
- Willing to complete paid training and orientation
