Job Summary:
The Infusion Nurse position in Northampton, Massachusetts, involves providing outpatient chemotherapy infusion care within a dedicated Cancer Center. This role requires patient-centered practice including chemotherapy administration, education, symptom management, and care coordination. The nurse collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care aligned with established organizational policies and standards of practice.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; one (1) to two (2) years of ambulatory oncology experience; current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) chemo/immunotherapy certificate; Oncology Nurse certification (OCN) required after 2 years of hire or upon reaching 2,000 hours of oncology nursing practice; demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and in a team; basic computer skills; ability to maintain patient confidentiality; effective communication skills.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position supports patient care through chemotherapy administration, patient education, and care planning within a multidisciplinary oncology team, practicing according to American Nurses Association (ANA) and Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) standards of care.
