Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Wednesday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM; Saturday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM. What You’ll Do Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to verify authorized entry, providing directions, and reporting unusual conditions or policy violations. Support a professional healthcare environment by observing for hazards, assisting with de‑escalation when appropriate, and communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and/or first responders during security‑related events. Minimum Requirements Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
