- # Survey CAD TechnicianApplylocations: Kansas City, KStime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: JR101223**Job Description:****Overview:**This position provides experienced technical and office support for survey projects with complex deliverables while mentoring team members.**Responsibilities:*** Lead technical survey tasks and mentor Survey Technician I and II team members.* Prepare advanced-level drawings, calculations, and exhibits using AutoCAD Civil 3D with minimal oversight.* Conduct thorough reviews of deliverables for accuracy and completeness.* Perform complex deed research and prepare detailed legal descriptions and plats.* Coordinate with field crews to ensure data alignment and project accuracy.* Develop and maintain databases of survey data with minimal supervision.* Process and refine field data into polished survey deliverables for client or internal use.**Qualifications:*** Associate’s degree, certificate, or equivalent relevant experience.* 3+ years of experience in a survey technician role.* Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with MicroStation is a plus.* Ability to mentor junior staff.* Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.* Proven ability to handle complex projects and adapt to changing priorities with minimal supervision.* Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with overtime as needed.**EEO Statement:**All qualified applicants for Pape-Dawson Engineers will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
