Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist Weekly Pay $1627 - $1827 Shift Shift 12 Hour Night Shifts Per Week 3 Scheduled Hours 36 Start Date 07/20/2026 End Date 10/24/2026 Duration 13 Week(s) Job Description Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift (3x12.0) Contract Position Assignment Duration This is a 5-week contract position from June 26 to July 31. Schedule Night shift, 3x12.0 hours per week. Job Description The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing quality patient care by delivering intensive respiratory care and patient transport as medically prescribed. This role includes evaluating patients and recommending treatment plans while explaining the purpose and procedures of treatments, tests, and equipment to patients. Responsibilities Conducts physician-prescribed treatments using various ventilatory equipment, oxygen and aerosol devices, and nebulizers. Performs chest physiotherapy and suctioning of patients using various methods (oropharyngeal, nasal, tracheal). Monitors patient oximetry and capnography in compliance with established policies. Reviews patient's chest X-rays for further evaluation and conducts pulmonary function studies. Assists with respiratory care procedures including bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and tracheostomy care. Performs arterial punctures and evaluates ventilation efficiency while monitoring and reporting test results. Ensures compliance with policies related to laboratory testing, including specimen handling and quality controls. Administers CPR in accordance with BLS and ACLS guidelines. Records treatment details and patient progress, communicating with attending and pulmonary physicians regarding therapy efficiency. Maintains accurate respiratory therapy charges and participates in equipment maintenance and repair. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current Respiratory Therapy license. Relevant certifications in BLS and ACLS. Experience in a clinical setting with a focus on respiratory care. Benefits At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
