Production Support Coordinator

Team Leadership

• Supervision: Lead, train, and support the Production Clerk and Production Analyst, including assigning work, setting priorities, and reviewing output for accuracy.
• Performance: Set clear expectations, give regular feedback, and take part in hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews.
• Coverage: Make sure all reporting and inventory tasks are covered during absences and peak periods.

Inventory Management

• Inventory records: Maintain accurate inventory records for all products, accounting for every pound received at the building through production, storage, and shipment.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile receipts, production usage, and shipments to on-hand balances, and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Physical count process: Own the physical count process, including scheduling counts, setting procedures, assigning count teams, reviewing results, and reconciling counts to inventory records.
• Coordination: Work with the freezer, shipping/receiving, and production teams to keep inventory data accurate and current.
• Process improvement: Identify gaps in inventory tracking and recommend improvements to processes and tools.

Production Reporting

• Production reports: Oversee the daily and weekly production reports, including pounds produced by line, product, and shift.
• Marination pound report: Make sure marinated pounds are tracked, reported, and reconciled against production totals.
• Data accuracy: Verify production data at the source, investigate variances, and correct errors before reports are released.

General Support

• Cross-functional support: Serve as the main resource for production, accounting, and shipping/receiving production and inventory data questions.
• Other duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.
