About the Position

Job Title: Labor and Delivery RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Not Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Experience with both labor and postpartum care. Comfortable with nursery care. Cross-trained for Labor and Delivery, Couplet Care, Newborn Nursery, and circulating C-sections. Description: The position requires competency in labor, postpartum, and nursery care. The Family Birth Center includes a level 2 nursery and labor/postpartum care within the same room/department. The role involves working day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM. Every other weekend is required. Call may be necessary. All registered nurses will be trained across various responsibilities in the unit. The unit consists of 10 bed LDRP with a Level II nursery, and one operating suite. Monthly deliveries range from 50 to 65. Scrub colors are OR green, provided by the facility.
