Machinist – 2nd Shift Join our team to support Anoka HOFFMAN Operations as a Machinist on 2nd Shift. You will fabricate precision parts, fixtures, and gauges from samples, prints, drawings, sketches, and oral instruction using mills, lathes, drill presses, surface grinders, and other shop tools. Additionally, you will help optimize and maintain production equipment, and assist contractors or manufacturers with new equipment installation, start‑up, troubleshooting, fabricating, or modifying parts. Key Responsibilities Fabricate precision parts and employ machine tools, including manual mills, lathes, drill presses, and surface grinders. Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment. Help with shop set‑up and new equipment start‑up. Qualifications Experience maintaining or setting up manual mills, lathes, drill presses, surface grinders, and band saws. Ability to read and understand mechanical prints. Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers, height gauges, and indicators. Welding experience preferred. Ability to hold geometric tolerances of +/- .003 inch and +/- .06 degree preferred. Strong mechanical and mathematical skills. Preferred certification in Machining Technology. Ability to work evenings without restrictions. Compensation Pay range: $17.20 – $31.90 per hour.
