Classification Title:Adjunct - Healthcare Instructor (Pool)Department:Allied HealthPhysical Demands:Able to traverse campus, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, handling, fine dexterity, bending, vision, hearing, and talking.Job Summary/Basic Function:Adjunct Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity on an as needed basis. These positions are filled prior to or during each semester and are contingent upon the needs of the College.Brazosport College accepts application materials for pool positions on a continuing basis throughout the year from qualified applicants willing to teach on a part-time basis.College benefits do not accrue with this part-time position.Academic departments will contact potential applicants when there are available openings.Job duties include, but are not limited to:Reports to the Manager of Allied HealthTeaches Allied health related classes using traditional and/or alternative delivery methodsMinimum Qualifications:High School diploma or GED/HSECombination of education, work experience, and special skillsMinimum 2 years working as a healthcare professionalExcellent written and oral communication skillsOther qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one’s value to the institutionExceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special considerationDesirable Qualifications:Current certification/license in a healthcare profession #J-18808-Ljbffr Brazosport-College
