Hitachi Energy is seeking a Hourly Team Member for its Jefferson City, MO location. This role is responsible for the manufacturing of single phase and three phase padmount distribution transformers.

Your responsibilities

• Steel fabrication, welding, internal electrical assembly, component marshalling, core coil assembly, coil winding, painting, cabinet assembly, final assembly and repair positions.
• Operation of machinery & equipment used in transformer manufacturing and operating forklifts.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Your background

• High School degree, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime, as needed.
• Ability to work well with other Team Members, perform high-quality work in a safe manner to achieve Section goals.
• Can follow detailed work instructions.
• Prior manufacturing or welding experience is preferred.
• Successful completion of the post-offer pre-employment process.
• Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
