Equestrian Sales & Service Specialist

Job Summary:Responsible for providing customers with prompt and courteous service and assistance, replenishing and stocking merchandise, and keeping the sales floor clean, neat, and fully organized.Responsibilities:Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service experienceAnswer questions, suggest promotional items and provide product informationProcess payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash and store or other credit cards.Process customer refunds courteously and professionally.Process merchandise shipmentsAssist with store upkeepPerform other duties as assignedRequirements:Must have English equestrian experienceBasic understanding of sales principles and customer service practicesSolid communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to read, write and effectively communicate with customers, peers and managementTelephone etiquetteAbility to multi-task, while being attentive to customersAbility to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervisionThis position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for most of the shift.
