Full Charge Bookkeeper / Accountant

A well-established and growing organization is seeking an experienced Accountant/ Full Charge Bookkeeper to take ownership of its accounting and financial operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working autonomously, partnering with leadership, and driving strong financial processes across the business. The candidate will serve as a key member of the organization, providing accurate financial reporting, maintaining accounting best practices, and supporting operational decision-making. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of day-to-day accounting operations Lead month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and distribute financial statements and management reports Oversee payroll processing and related accounting activities Support employee benefit administration and financial recordkeeping Maintain general ledger integrity and account reconciliations Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations Coordinate with external accounting, tax, and professional service providers Qualifications: Required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with ownership of the full accounting cycle Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger management, reconciliations, and month-end close Experience managing payroll and related accounting functions Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization Preferred Experience in product-based, operational, or inventory-focused businesses Prior experience serving as the lead accounting professional within a small or mid-sized organization Exposure to multi-entity or complex organizational structures Previous supervisory or management experience Supportive and team-oriented culture Opportunity for long-term growth and impact The organization offers a competitive benefits package, retirement savings options, paid time off, and additional employee-focused programs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
