We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Production Operator to support manufacturing and pilot-scale production operations within a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is ideal for candidates with manufacturing, warehouse, production, or technical operations experience who enjoy hands-on work and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Position Overview

The Production Operator will perform routine manufacturing tasks for new and existing products according to standardized procedures and established work instructions. Responsibilities include producing catalyst carriers at pilot plant and production scale levels through weighing, mixing, forming, drying, testing, packaging, and shipping support activities.

Candidates should be comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment, operating forklifts, maintaining detailed production documentation, and supporting workplace organization and safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing & Production Support

• Perform routine manufacturing and pilot-scale production activities
• Support weighing, mixing, forming, drying, and processing operations
• Produce catalyst carrier products according to standardized procedures
• Maintain accurate written and electronic process documentation
• Submit and track samples through ERP quality systems
• Perform product testing and prepare shipments to customers

Equipment & Facility Support

• Perform routine cleaning, assembly, and basic equipment maintenance
• Operate forklifts and maintain annual forklift certification
• Maintain organized and clean workspaces using 5S principles
• Assist with sweeping, painting, cleaning, and general workplace organization
• Support safety, environmental, and operational compliance initiatives

Team & Safety Responsibilities

• Follow all EH&S, regulatory, and company safety procedures
• Participate in required safety and operational training sessions
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Adapt to changing production priorities and operational needs
• Maintain a professional and respectful team-oriented attitude

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Forklift license required
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to perform intermediate math calculations including decimals, fractions, and S.I. units
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Technical school or post-secondary education preferred
• Experience with ERP systems, quality systems, or industrial manufacturing environments
• Experience supporting pilot plant or industrial processing operations
