Mechanical Estimator

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our team in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience in estimating mechanical projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for mechanical projects Review project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and materials needed Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop cost-effective solutions Source and negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers Prepare and submit bids to clients within specified deadlines Monitor project costs and make adjustments as needed Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project costs Participate in project meetings and provide support to project teams as needed Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical estimating Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications Excellent mathematical and analytical skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Familiarity with estimating software and tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred but not required Benefits: Competitive salary Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company #J-18808-Ljbffr M
