Sales Support Manager

Manages the coordination of activities of a section or department with responsibility for meeting financial commitments, including costs, methods, and staffing. Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers to address sales process issues and/or resolve customer needs. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that increase productivity. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Manages the performance of direct reports by developing accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counseling, feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
