Travelassignmentsmayincludecompany-paidlodging,perdiemeligibility,overtimeopportunities,andairtravelwhennecessary.Whiletravelisaprimarycomponentofthisrole,schedulesandassignmentsmayvarybasedonbusinessneeds. EssentialResponsibilities Install,splice,terminate,test,troubleshoot,andrepairfiberopticsystems Readandinterpretprojectplans,maps,schematics,andconstructiondrawings Assistwiththeconstruction,installation,andmaintenanceoftelecommunicationsinfrastructure Operatesafelyinoutdoorenvironmentsandvaryingweatherconditions Traveltoprojectsitesthroughouttheregionandcountryasassigned Participateinanon-callrotationtosupportemergencyoutagesandservicerestoration Completerequireddocumentation,reports,andprojectupdatesaccuratelyandtimely Maintaincompanyvehicles,tools,andequipmentinasafeandprofessionalmanner Adheretoallcompanysafetypolicies,customerrequirements,andindustrystandards Qualifications ValidU.S.driver'slicensewithanacceptablemotorvehiclerecord Abilityandwillingnesstotravelextensively,includingoccasionalairtravel Abilitytoliftandcarryupto70pounds Comfortableworkingoutdoorsinphysicallydemandingenvironments Strongworkethicandabilitytoworkindependentlywithminimalsupervision Basiccomputer,tablet,andsmartphoneproficiency Abilitytoworkflexibleschedules,includingdays,nights,weekends,andemergencyresponsesituations Abilitytodistinguishcolorsandreaddetailedlabelsanddocumentation Strongproblem-solvingskillsandattentiontodetail Abilitytopassapre-employmentdrugscreenandbackgroundcheck WhyJoinLightworks?
