Hourly Pay Range $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights Sign on bonus: $25,000 18 months of Labor and Delivery experience required. Position Registered Nurse - OB Unit Location Chicago, IL Contract & Hours Full Time Night Shift (7p-7a); every other weekend and rotating holidays required; call requirement Required Travel Float within Family Birth Center What you will do Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnosis, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of nursing care to patients and their families. Maintains competency reflective of current standards practice. Interacts and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues. Integrates ethical provisions in all areas of nursing practice. Integrates evidence-based practice and research findings into nursing practice. Recognizes and adjusts to situations that vary from the norm. Promotes safety measures to prevent patient and staff injuries. Guides and supervises staff in the provision of patient care. Enhances own professional growth and development. Maintains a safe therapeutic working environment and recognizes need for action in emergency situations. Documentation is thoroughly and timely completed. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. What you will need Prefers 2 years of current Labor and Delivery/Nursery Level II nurse experience Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Demonstrates mastery of nursing skills. Communicates effectively and is able to guide and supervise nursing personnel.
