Personal Care Aide

Role: Personal Care Aide responsible for providing quality in-home care to clients in the Greenville area. Responsibilities Include Following client's care plan tasks via app or in-home instructions. Completing daily tasks using EVV or electronic timesheets. Assisting clients with self-help activities and providing basic personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulating, meal preparation (including special diets), feeding, oral hygiene, and transfers using equipment like walkers and wheelchairs. Maintaining safety, infection control, and a clean environment; reporting hazards and changes in client condition. Respecting client privacy, confidentiality, and rights while offering assistance within the scope of practice. Supporting clients with household tasks like laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping if needed. Monitoring client well-being, alerting staff of issues, and ensuring safety precautions are followed. Assisting with medication self-administration (not directly administering). Reporting any abuse, neglect, or unsafe conditions immediately. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma preferred, ability to read and write required. At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience. Must be 18 years or older. Ability to follow care plans, utilize safety precautions, and maintain professionalism.
