Training Specialist

Responsibilities Drive the development of employee capabilities by coordinating training and mentoring processes, administering the Skills Management system, and ensuring consistent execution of plant-wide training standards. Act as a local administrator and key user of the Skills Management IT system, ensuring data accuracy and effective usage across all functional areas of the plant. Recruit, onboard, and develop local mentors; prepare them for the mentoring role, verify mentoring activities, and monitor training delivery quality. Plan, organize, and coordinate training activities in close cooperation with departments, covering both on-the-job training and classroom-based training. Organize and supervise the employee skills assessment process, participate in skills evaluations, and validate skill proficiency levels against defined standards. Monitor execution of training plans; prepare regular reports and analyses, and communicate training progress, gaps, and results to key stakeholders. Promote training and development initiatives through internal communication channels. Coordinate and deliver induction programs for newly hired employees, ensuring a consistent and structured start-up process. Maintain and oversee training documentation, including records, standards, assessment results, and compliance materials. Cooperate with the Group / Corporate Training Team, participate in group-wide projects, and support implementation of global training solutions at plant level. Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintain the area according to 5S standards and Continuous Improvement methodologies. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor in line with the position scope and employment agreement. Qualifications Education: University degree in Human Resources or related fields. Experience: 3–5 years in training, learning & development roles within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of training processes, on-the-job training, mentoring principles, skills assessment methods and matrices. Strong facilitation, communication, and collaboration skills across production and support functions. Ability to plan and coordinate training activities in a manufacturing setting. Ability to deliver training, workshops, and skills assessments in both on-the-job and classroom settings. Ability to analyze training data and report progress and gaps in a clear and structured manner. Ability to influence and engage supervisors, mentors, and trainers without direct authority. Basic knowledge of continuous improvement concepts. Training and Development Requirements Complete company-required training including Health & Safety (Occupational Safety Training), Company Policies and Code of Conduct, Train the Trainer training, and On-the-Job Training methodologies. Additional training may be required as directed by the Company in response to operational, quality, or safety needs.
