Key Responsibilities

• Guest Interaction & Service

  • Welcome guests with a warm, upbeat presence and provide clear guidance on menu items, specials, and ordering.

  • Maintain a polished, professional demeanor even during peak rushes.

  • Ensure all guest questions are answered accurately and confidently.

• Order Management

  • Enter orders quickly and accurately into the POS system.

  • Coordinate timing with sushi chefs to ensure smooth order flow.

  • Package takeout orders with care and attention to presentation.

• Operational Excellence

  • Maintain a clean, organized counter area throughout service.

  • Restock supplies, utensils, sauces, and packaging materials.

  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.

• Team Collaboration

  • Communicate clearly with kitchen and sushi bar teams.

  • Support teammates during high-volume periods.

  • Uphold DK Sushi’s service standards and brand voice.

• Prior experience in hospitality, counter service, or fast‑casual dining preferred.

• Strong communication skills and a naturally warm, guest‑forward personality.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment without losing accuracy.

• Comfort with POS systems and basic cash-handling procedures.

• Reliability, punctuality, and a team-first mindset.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed.

• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-energy environment.
