Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Location

Oswego, NY | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Day Shifts (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM) | Expected 36 hours/week | 6-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and non-emergent conditions
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient treatment plans
• Manage multiple patients simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of care
• Document patient information accurately and in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited school of nursing
• Current New York State (NYS) RN licensure
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task in a busy environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Emergency Department or acute care setting
• Familiarity with emergency triage protocols and high-acuity patient management
