This opportunity is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field Equivalent combination of education and relevant EHS experience may be consideredExperience Requirements Minimum 5 years of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, environmental compliance, and workplace safety regulations Experience managing safety programs, environmental permitting, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory audits Proven ability to conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions Strong reporting, data analysis, communication, and project management skillsPhysical Capabilities Regularly stand, walk, communicate, and work throughout a manufacturing facility Frequently use hands, reach, and perform inspections in production areas Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds Ability to work safely in an industrial environment while maintaining awareness of surroundings Visual ability to perform inspections, audits, and identify workplace hazardsJob Duties Implement and maintain workplace safety, environmental, and sustainability programs Support ISO 14001 environmental management initiatives where applicable Conduct EHS training and promote a strong safety culture Maintain OSHA logs, compliance records, and regulatory reporting requirements Manage environmental compliance activities, including hazardous waste, air emissions, water programs, and permitting Partner with regulatory agencies and external consultants to ensure compliance Perform facility safety and environmental audits and implement corrective actions Investigate workplace incidents using root cause analysis methodologies Manage workers' compensation processes and injury prevention efforts Lead EHS-related capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to improve safety, compliance, and operational performanceBenefits Competitive Weekly Pay Comprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
