Senior Product Designer (Hybrid)

Senior Product Designer (Hybrid - 2 to 3 days onsite per week) Overview: Senior Product Designers at Weedmaps are motivated team players with a deep understanding of user-centered design, and a passion for creating experiences people love. In your day-to-day, you will identify, evaluate, and improve critical user journeys - making quantitative and qualitative-informed design decisions. You must be able to communicate the rationale for and approach for your design work in the form of verbal and written communication, user flows, wireframes, hi-fi comps, interactive prototypes, and proper documentation. As a Senior resource, you will be expected to come to understand the business' needs and goals, and tightly align your work accordingly. The impact you'll make: Enthusiastically champion design thinking and collaboration throughout the company Collaborate with Product, Data, Research, Engineering, and other teams to identify needs, define requirements, discover solutions, execute, and ship Align design decisions with business goals while crafting world-class user experiences Distill complex problems into discrete components with actionable solutions Maintain, guide, and push the boundaries of our design system Prototype and test interactions and user experiences objectively and without bias Use both qual and quant data and analytics to make informed decisions Actively participate in group critiques by both providing and receiving thoughtful, constructive feedback Collaborate with research partners and product managers to participate in discovery and usability studies, ensuring design work is grounded in user insights.
