Overview Join to apply for the RN - OR role at Integrated Resources, Inc ( IRI ) Job Details Job Title: RN - OR Job Location: Baton Rouge, LA 70816 Job Duration: 3 Months+ (Possibility of Extension) Shift: Day, 12-hour shifts with call responsibilities Experience: Minimum 2+ years as an OR Circulator, capable of covering multiple service lines Education Required: Registered Nurse Diploma Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Licensure/Certification Current RN License in state of practice Current BLS certification from American Heart Association Preferred: Clinical specialty certifications Work Environment Fast-paced, minimal supervision, handling confidential info Physical Demands Heavy work (lifting/moving 50-100 lbs occasionally) Exposure to blood, body fluids, communicable diseases, hazardous medications, and waste Core Responsibilities Use the Nursing Process for patient care delivery in the OR. Assess and address patient/family learning needs with appropriate teaching. Delegate and manage nursing team resources effectively. Collaborate as a leader within the interdisciplinary team. Utilize data to improve patient outcomes and promote positive changes. Maintain knowledge of current federal, state, and local laws and comply with all regulations. Support company philosophy and demonstrate accountability for personal practice. Participate in initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, employee morale, and nursing practice. Report any suspected unethical behavior, patient safety or compliance concerns immediately. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong organizational, time management, and delegation skills.
