This role is hands-on, high-impact, and central to keeping our low-latency, revenue-generating systems secure, resilient, and always available. You’ll be part of a tight-knit global group of engineers who take ownership of uptime, quality, and innovation. This is a collaborative team that values clear communication, accountability, and people who enjoy solving big technical challenges — especially under pressure. ________________________________________ What You’ll Do Design, implement, and maintain highly available network infrastructure supporting financial trading systems. Lead troubleshooting and major incident response for network-related issues in a 24/7 production environment. Partner with global peers to monitor and optimize low-latency networks across multiple continents. Work within a controlled change management process to ensure minimal disruption to production systems. Plan, script, and execute complex infrastructure changes — including off-hours and weekend work when needed. Manage patching, upgrades, and lifecycle for all network hardware. Collaborate with vendors to design and deploy new capabilities that meet business demands. Contribute to operational standards, documentation, and process improvements. Support internal teams and external clients with technical guidance and reliable communication. ________________________________________ What You Bring 7–9 years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise or SaaS environments. 5+ years of network operations experience, including troubleshooting, incident handling, and performance tuning. Advanced knowledge of Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls. Expertise with EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and Layer 2 switching (Port-channel, vPC). Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and network security principles. Proven ability to manage complex technical projects from concept to completion. Excellent communication skills — both technical and business-facing. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
