About the role: Cook/Homemaker

As a Cook, you'll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at Fieldstone of DeWitt.

As a Cook/Homemaker, you will:

• Create delicious meals: Prepare a variety of hot and cold dishes daily using chef-approved recipes that highlight your culinary skills.
• Work alongside culinary leaders: Collaborate with chefs and culinary directors while gaining hands-on experience in a professional kitchen.
• Support specialized diets: Help craft meals that meet modified diet plans, making a real difference in guests' health and satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards: Monitor food quality, manage portions, and act quickly to ensure every plate meets our service excellence.
• Practice smart and clean cooking: Follow proper sanitation and waste control practices, contributing to a safe, efficient, and sustainable kitchen.

Opening: As needed first (6AM-2:30PM) or second shift (3:30PM-7:30PM)

Qualifications:

• Culinary education preferred
• Minimum one year cooking experience
• Experience with quantity cooking and modified diet preferred

• The pay range for this position is $16.92-$24.85/hour. The starting pay rate will be based on years of experience.
