Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality emergency care
• Float to other units as needed based on census and organizational need, performing only tasks within demonstrated competencies
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and orientation prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, and PALS certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Prior travel nursing experience; first-time travelers may be considered based on demonstrated skill and experience
